Manufacturing IT Program & Engagement Lead

The impact you can make

Are you passionate about helping industrial organizations turn complex business and technology challenges into tangible improvements? As a Manufacturing IT Program & Engagement Lead within Atos Amplify, you work at the intersection of business, manufacturing and technology. You help clients translate strategic objectives and complex operational challenges into coherent transformation programs with clear governance, delivery ownership and measurable outcomes.

This is a senior client-facing leadership role with a broad, end-to-end perspective. You oversee the full manufacturing IT landscape, understand the dependencies between business processes, operations, data, applications, platforms and delivery partners, and turn that overview into a pragmatic program approach. You lead engagements from early shaping and mobilization through execution, governance and value realization.

You take responsibility for complex, multidisciplinary client engagements and transformation programs, create alignment across organizational boundaries and keep delivery moving when priorities, stakeholders and constraints compete. You also help strengthen and grow our Smart Industry portfolio in the BNN (Belgium, Netherlands & the Nordics) region.

What will you do

  • Lead complex manufacturing IT programs and client engagements from definition and mobilization through execution, governance and value realization.

  • Maintain the end-to-end overview of the manufacturing IT landscape and manage dependencies across business processes, operations, data, applications, infrastructure, security and delivery partners.

  • Establish pragmatic program structures, roadmaps, governance, decision forums, delivery plans, risk controls and transparent progress reporting.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into executable transformation priorities.

  • Drive delivery performance across multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and organizational boundaries, ensuring clear ownership, timely decisions and measurable outcomes, including in outcome-based engagements where accountability is linked to agreed business results.

  • Lead workshops, assessments and program reviews to align ambitions, scope, priorities and execution.

  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments, resolve escalations and create commitment without relying solely on formal authority.

  • Bring together Atos capabilities and industry expertise to shape a coherent program approach rather than a technology-led point solution.

  • Support pre-sales and business development by using delivery experience and industry knowledge to shape credible opportunities, proposals, implementation approaches and client presentations.

  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to extend or deepen existing engagements.

  • Contribute to the development of Atos Amplify's Smart Industry portfolio, propositions and go-to-market activities.

  • Motivate, coach and connect teams so they collaborate effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries.

What do you bring

We are looking for an experienced program or engagement leader who combines delivery ownership, client leadership, manufacturing insight and commercial awareness.

You recognize yourself in several of the following:

  • Demonstrable experience as a program manager, engagement manager or comparable leader for complex technology-enabled transformations.

  • A strong track record of leading multidisciplinary delivery across multiple workstreams, suppliers, countries or business units, including experience with outcome-based projects or engagements in which scope, governance, commercial commitments and delivery are aligned to measurable business results.

  • The ability to oversee the complete manufacturing IT landscape and connect strategic, operational, process and technology perspectives.

  • Experience working in process manufacturing, discrete manufacturing and/or asset-intensive environments.

  • Strong command of program governance, planning, financial management, risk and issue management, dependency management, executive reporting and benefits realization.

  • Confidence operating with senior management and executive stakeholders and facilitating clear, timely decisions.

  • Excellent stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build alignment across organizational boundaries and competing interests.

  • The ability to turn ambiguity into an executable program approach without losing sight of the wider business and operational context.

  • Relevant experience in pre-sales, business development and opportunity shaping, grounded in delivery experience and industry knowledge.

  • Broad understanding of manufacturing IT and digital transformation. Familiarity with areas such as ERP, PLM, MES/MOM, supply chain, industrial data, AI, digital twins, engineering transformation, IT/OT integration or connected operations is beneficial.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant business, engineering, technology or information-management discipline.

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

Your way of working

You are pragmatic, transparent and decisive. You create clarity when the answer is not obvious, make well-considered decisions with incomplete information and remain accountable for the outcome.

You are creative within complex constraints and know how to balance ambition with delivery reality. You anticipate dependencies, surface difficult issues early and convert complexity into practical choices, clear ownership and forward movement.

You are a strong stakeholder manager who builds trust across functions, organizations and levels of seniority. You motivate teams to collaborate across organizational boundaries and create momentum.

You combine a program leadership mindset with a delivery mindset: you keep the wider transformation goal in view while ensuring that governance, decisions and execution work in practice.

Nice to have

  • Experience owning the commercial and delivery performance of a significant client engagement or program portfolio.

  • Experience working across multiple manufacturing or industrial clients and operating models.

  • Experience leading technology-enabled transformation programs involving multiple vendors, disciplines or geographies.

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, industrial IT/OT environments, cloud, data or AI.

  • Experience coaching senior consultants, workstream leads or multidisciplinary teams.

  • An existing professional network within the Dutch industrial or manufacturing sector.

Why this role

Within Atos Amplify Smart Industry, you will lead complex manufacturing IT engagements where strategic ambition, operational reality and technology delivery must come together.

Rather than being tied to one technology platform or point solution, your focus is on creating the program structure, stakeholder alignment and delivery discipline needed to achieve measurable business outcomes. The role offers senior client exposure and meaningful engagement responsibility, while remaining more delivery-oriented.
