Your role as a L3 Support Engineer @ Atos

An L3 NSX engineer is the most senior engineer in the daily support activities of the service that Atos provides to its customer. The L3 NSX engineer manages the private cloud to our customer’s needs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• High-Level Design (HLD) documentation.
• Ensures technical sign-off of Low-Level Design (LLD) and operational documentation.
• Acts as mentor and provide support to colleagues across the Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Provides technical input for ongoing development of portfolio and to bids, solutions, and RFP documents.
• Aligns cyber security solution with delivery and CLA.
• Is member of the Architecture board with customer architects and is in this role responsible for improvements and discussions of new cyber security developments within the landscape.

Skills we'd need you to have:

• 2 years of experience working as a L3 engineer in a multi-site (Private-Cloud) environment (Dell/Vmware).
• NSX-V or NSX-T Certified.
• VCP certified (Vsphere 6.x and/or Vsphere 7.x).
• Experience with working in a large VMware cloud environment.
• Experience with VSAN.
• 2 years of Experience working with NSX.
• Knowledge of services like IaaS, PaaS and their difference
• Knowledge of either windows server or Linux Redhat. 
• Knowledge of Datanetworking (understanding of Firewall, Router and Switches).
• You are a team player but can also work alone.
• You have good communication skills towards team and customer.
• High level of analytical thinking is a must for problem solving in our complex environment.
• No 9 to 5 mentality: changes with customer impact are usually done outside office hours.
• Can create, read and adjust documentation.
• Takes a leading and visible role in the development and promotion of the technical specialism.
• You live in the Netherlands.
• You speak, read and write Dutch fluent.
• *A screening by AIVD (Dutch homeland security) is a requirement for this role. 

Skills we'd like you to have or willing to learn:

• VCAP certified
• Experience with vRealize Automation and Orchestration suite (vRa/vRO-7 and/or 8).
• Experience with Ansible tower.
• Experience working with Confluence, Gitlab.
• Experience with VXBlock
• Experience with Dell Openmanage.
• Experience with Vmware Vrops and loginsight
• Experience working in DevOps team.
• Experience in working in Agile / scrum product teams.
• Experience with VSAN ready nodes, Vxrails.
