Are you ready for a step in your career as a Security Operations Center analyst?

 

This service is the first line of response regarding the potential occurrence of a cyber-attack or security incident. Supported by several automated tools such as intrusion detection systems, log correlation engines and SIEM, ticketing systems, alerts, and warnings from internal and external sources. It also involves receiving, prioritizing, and responding to alerts, requests, and reports, analyzing events and potential incidents, and providing primary support for incident responders.

 

Your responsibilities:

The position is within the Big Data & Security (BDS) service line, providing information security consulting, implementation, and managed security services:

  • SOC & SIEM consulting services, Data Loss Prevention consulting services
  • Perimeter Protection Services, for example IDS/IPS, Proxy, Malware Scanning, DDOS Mitigation, Next-Gen Firewalls
  • Platform protection: Vulnerability Management
  • Log management solution Splunk or equivalent

We do this using our own cybersecurity software & hardware products and leading partner solutions.

 

 Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant area
  • 1 -3 years as a junior/analyst in a Security Operation Center
  • SOC analyst with SOC experience and Splunk expertise
  • Writing and optimizing IDS signatures (preferably SNORT and/or SURICATA)
  • Experience tuning and/or configuring SIEM and vulnerability tools
  • Experience writing and optimizing YARA rules is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Windows security events analysis, firewall, proxy, and IDS logs
  • Knowledge in Host-based security solutions such as HIPS, Malware endpoint protection, OS Logs
  • The capability to work in a multicultural, global environment
  • Good English communications skills, Positive teamplayer

SOC Analyst SUPPORT ANALYST 1 year similar experience in a SOC, willing and able to get an EU Secret clearance, so only apply if you have an EU nationality ( so no UK citizens anymore).
