HR Advisor - Health Management

The HR Advisor provides operational HR advice and guidance across all business areas on individual requests escalated to them by PeoplePoint (Face). They also manage the implementation of HR Projects and Year cycle processes such as bonus score cards, salary round etc. Customers can be Head HRBP/WFM BTN, Head Policies & Processes BTN etc.
Main activities:
- Provide an effective and responsive HR service to managers (after click-call), responding to issues and queries in a timely manner, act as the “Face”.
- Within the Click -Call-Face approach, build and maintain effective relationships with PeoplePoint (the HR Employment Services) to ensure that information and data are provided in a planned and co-ordinated manner.
- Guide managers (after click-call) on individual HR topics (including discipline, grievance and performance cases), related to all HR policies and procedures, helping managers understand how they are applied within the business.
- Management and support of HR projects both planned within the Year Cycle Calendar and also on an ad-hoc basis. Ensuring that all HR projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards (i.e. transitions, salary rounds, BSCs, introduction, HR workshops).
- Ensure for adequate knowledge about new (changes in) regulations to PeoplePoint and is responsible for raising a change request by new regulation/change regulation in time.
Health Management Duties and Responsibilities:
- From the vision and strategic framework of the organization you develop and maintain the health and safety policy, draw up the annual plan and provide input for the required budget.
- You ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the field of health and safety, absenteeism and reintegration and translate this into workable strategic and tactical HR policy.
- You maintain this policy and monitor its operational translation and implementation in practice. Organizing the risk inventory and evaluation is an important part of this.
- You have a proactive signalling, monitoring, supporting, enthusing, informing and advising role towards the organization.
- You give solicited and unsolicited advice.
- You maintain contacts with various relevant internal and external parties, such as Board/Management, Works Council, Occupational Health and Safety Service and the Labor Inspection.
- You keep up to date with changes in current legislation and will bring to the attention of the Management, any relevant new legislation.

- Safety – Emergency Response policy and ER organisation
- Workplace – Regulations and facilities
- Health – policy and organisation of absenteeism and reintegration
- Wellbeing – preventive programs and support
- Inappropriate behaviour regulations and Persons of Trust
- RI&E – Risk inventory and evaluation
Experience and expertise required for the role:
The HR Advisor is looking ahead and is making positive contributions to business growth and understands the implications of decisions and actions on business. He/She is creative and demonstrates a personal ability to apply this creativity in problem solving. He/She is very flexible, he can play several different roles simultaneously according to the specific situation. Willing to develop themselves to the next HR advisor level.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or similar
- 4-5 years of experience in HR with at least 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor
- Knowledge of Dutch legislation
- Knowledge of Dutch language
