Principal Linux/Oracle OVM Engineer


  • Superior technical expert supporting Oracle OVM and Red Hat Enterprise Linux in a large enterprise environment.
  • HA clustering expertise in Oracle OVM and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Oracle OVM and Red Hat Enterprise Linux advanced performance analysis and kernel debugging.
  • Template builds for deployment in private and public cloud.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, preferably using Ansible.
  • Strong patching skills using Satellite and proven ability to patch large number of servers using Satellite and automation.
  • Strong technical mentoring skills. Ability to independently find/develop solutions for complex technical problems and lead technical team towards resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Proven track record developing SOPs, project plans, documenting process and providing technical coaching to less senior technical staff.
