As a medior developer you have at least 2 years of work experience with software development. You are involved in various development projects and together with colleagues you develop custom systems that help our customers with their digital transformation. Agile or DevOps are often used within these projects.

As a Medior Java Developer you start within the practice that is specially concerned with Java and with all new developments in the Java field. Because all Java knowledge is bundled within this practice, this means short lines of communication and that you can spar with colleagues, influence the development of the practice and also determine in which new technology we can invest. Just because you start within this practice, doesn’t mean you’ll stay there. Together with your manager, you determine what your development path looks like and within which part of Eviden your future lies.

 

Are you the ideal candidate?

 

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
  • A plus can be that you have obtained a scrum master certification or have practical experience with Scrum development.
  • A plus can be that you obtained either the OCA (Java SE 8) or OCP (Java SE 11) certification
  • You have some experienced JAVA front-end and/or back-end developer, preferably familiar with Spring MVC and Hibernate or JPA
  • You have practical experience with relational databases, knowledge of NOSQL databases is a plus
  • You have some project experience with some of the following technologies and tools: JEE, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Maven, Gradle, Ant, ORM, HTML5, CSS, JQeury, GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence
  • An understanding of the modern JS frameworks such as Angular, React, Backbone, Vue and Node is considered a big advantage
  • You have experience with or an understanding of Cloud Native principles / technologies and hands on experience with or practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with integration products such as WSO2, Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Tibco, BusinessWorks, Microsoft BizTalk is a plus
  • You feel good with Agile and like to work in a Scrum environment
  • You see building a relationship of trust with our customers as a challenge
  • You are not afraid to participate in critical discussion about application management in a broad and/or deep perspective, both on Atos and on the customer side.
  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and/or French and English both written and spoken
  • You are a stress resistant, flexible, autonomous worker
