Azure Subject Matter Expert

 We are looking for a proficient Subject Matter Expert (SME) specialized in Microsoft Azure Security to become an integral part of our expanding team. In this role, you will be playing a critical position in formulating and executing our cloud security strategy, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and our organization's security protocols within Azure environments. Additionally, you will offer technical direction to our security teams and engage in collaborative efforts with various business units to tackle security challenges and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure security features and services
• Architect, implement, and oversee cloud security solutions for Azure environments
• Conduct security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities effectively
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures specific to Azure environments
• Provide technical training to team members adapting to new technologies.
• Collaborate with various business units to seamlessly integrate security into their cloud strategies
• Work closely with the team to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest Azure security features, threats and vulnerabilities
• Actively participate in project phases and official handovers with customers.
• Create technology and environment comprehensive documentation to enhance team knowledge and service quality.
• Identify areas for improvement within the team and services offered.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security, with at least 3 years focus on Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of Azure security features and services, including Entra, Encryption, Network Security, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender EASM and Defender XDR.
• Experience with cloud regulatory compliance, such as Microsoft Cloud Security benchmark, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification and/or
• Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102) certification and/or
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Microsoft Applied Skills for Security and Infrastructure subjects
• Familiarity with security incident response (IR) and security operations center (SOC) processes
