Senior Accountant

For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the correctness of the G/L entries in compliance with the Atos Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP requirements; Preparation and validation of accounting and reporting data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing;
• Identification and resolution of General Ledger problems within their specific area of assignment including balance sheet reconciliations;
• Acting as a subject matter expert within the Accounting team represents the second line of escalation for queries related to all accounting processes;
• Acting as the first line expert within their respective area of Intercompany financial responsibility – issuance of invoices, maintenance of IC agreements, intercompany reporting, and all sub-processes.;
• A high level of interaction with different teams within the Shared Service Center (SSC) and a moderate one with in-country departments like HR, Controlling, Order Processing, etc.;
• Performing analytical reviews for his/her specific areas of responsibility for inclusion within the overall Finance review;
• Providing accounting advice and guidance to other Atos departments like Order Processing, Controlling, etc.;
• Driving and supporting change activities within the SSC and wider business as pertaining to Finance;
• Motivation, guidance, and mentoring of junior associates;
• Working with the Team Leader in such areas as succession planning within the team; recruitment and development of team members and their successful onboarding within the organization.

Requirements:

• University degree in economics /finance or equivalent education
• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting
• SAP, MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
• Fluent English Language Skills Written/Verbal required
• Strong Analytical Skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines required
