Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

 

Manage projects involved in cross platform technologies such as Duck Creek technology, C# .Net, SQL Server and responsible for translating the work of Software Engineers so that the program may be read and run by a computer.

Write, review, and modify computer software by encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs.

Facilitate business and technical discussions between the offshore team and the client. Give demo and walkthrough new Duck Creek functionality implementation with business partners, UAT user and project teams.

Capture requirements, and conduct impact analysis of requirement from Duck Creek development perspective.

Work on estimation, planning, and allocation of all Duck Creek requirements.

Code and develop new enhancements in Duck Creek.

Modify new/existing programs per project/client standards and perform the Unit testing of developed/ modified code.

Support Business Lead and Business Analysts with implementation approach for the medium to critical functional requirements.

Participate in discussion with Project Manager, Team Leads, and team members regarding project issues and processes followed. Coordinate and provide Duck Creek technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and review the code done by junior team members.

Fix technical issues and create technical impact assessment document.

Participate in pre-project business development activities which include writing technical feasibility, developing price estimates, and delivering pitches for new work which involve Duck Creek technology.

Handle technical queries and ensure all timely deliverables. Perform code review of all team members before deploying code to a higher environment.

Partner with project managers and developers to successfully manage client relationships and oversee installation of hardware and software and monitor performance of programs after implementation.

May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Oracle; SQL; Duck Creek Configuration Tool; XML; SQL Server; Agile Scrum; JavaScript; and Waterfall.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $114,338 – 115,338.
