Credit Controller

The role of Credit Controller is within the Customer Billing and Cash Team. The role reports to the RBU Credit Manager or the RBU Head of Credit Management, and may be based on, near or offshore.

Working within a credit control team you will be responsible for sales ledger management and managing the debt, DSO and Overdue ratio for a defined area.

Working as part of a team this position deals requires strong organizational skills, and a high level of customer focus.

Daily interactions are with internal and external customers, as well as staff at all levels within the business and the support center in India.

Key objectives are:

• To ensure cash is collected in line with customer contractual payment terms.
• To ensure DSO is maintained to an acceptable level.
• To reduce overdue debts.
• Receipts are collected in line with monthly targets.
• Management of sales ledger

Responsibilities:

• Chasing debts
• Sales Ledger reconciliation
• Cash forecasting
• Reporting
• General Administration.
• Manage own portfolio of customers
• Maintain accurate/up-to-date notes within the Credit Management system
• Action and escalate the invoice queries in a timely manner.
• Maintaining good customer relations whilst ensuring customer accounts are maintained within agreed credit terms.
• Other Ad Hoc duties as requested by RBU Credit Manager
• Holding regular calls with account managers / CEPs / Finance Controllers

Skills required:

• Excel
• Sales Ledger experience
• Team player
• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive and forward-thinking’
