Backend .Net Api Developer

The Software Developer role is primarily responsible for the development and deployment of software solutions. The role will focus on development of WPF Applications and Web APIs, production support and continual improvement, as well as being a key contributor to application design and the contribution of innovative insights and ideas. The position will also assist the software development team with following and taking full advantage of continuous integration processes, test automation, and the latest frameworks and tools within the Microsoft stack.

Key Skill Sets:

• 4+ years’ developing applications using the .NET framework, C#
• 4+ years' API development (using .NET); API design, implementation and integration
• SQL Server • Microservices • Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Entity Framework (Code First / Migration, Create Tables, Workflows)
• Version control systems (Git intermediate/Advanced knowledge)
• Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Financial services industry experience (nice to have)

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Soap/Rest Web Api services along with good .net basics to succeed in this role.
• Develop, test, and deploy .NET applications
• Work with other developers to design and implement new features identify and implement opportunities to continuously improve Eviden's development capabilities
• Refactoring codebase to improve performance and maintainability
• Migrating legacy applications to .NET Core
• Working on microservices-based architecture
• Implementing security best practices
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications
• Providing technical support to users
