JOB DESCRIPTION
Specialist technician with extensive experience in hardware and network maintenance within multi-provider server and network environments. Proficient in large systems maintenance.
PROFILE FUNCTIONS:
- Experienced technician with a minimum of 4 years in hardware and network maintenance roles.
- Skilled in maintaining servers and networks from various providers.
- Proficient in AIX, LINUX environments.
- Experienced in hardware repair and maintenance, utilizing management and configuration tools.
- Capable of providing technical advice to end clients across various server and network environments and models.
- Well-versed in managing services and virtual machines on the VMware platform.
- Experienced in corporate server configuration and user management.
- Skilled in website modification and layout.
- Proficient in local network management, warehouse management, order fulfillment, and product transfers between warehouses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical education in Computer Systems Administration or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in AIX, LINUX environments and hardware repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with management and configuration tools such as GSP, MP, ILO, RSA, IMM, DRAC, ASMI, HMC.
- Experience with servers and storage systems from various brands (e.g., IBM, HP, Sun Microsystems, Dell, Fujitsu) and VMware platform.
- Proficiency in corporate server configuration, website modification, and local network management.
- Training courses and certifications in relevant hardware and system environments are highly valued.
- Proactive with leadership skills and effective client communication abilities.
- Proficient in Spanish and conversational English (B2 level).
LOCATION: Madrid
MOBILITY: Paid based on travel costs
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, 7 x 24 hour coverage
WORK MODALITY: Hybrid (2 days office, flexible to more days)
