Join us as a z/OS System Programmer! You'll dive into the heart of our infrastructure, managing software lifecycles, exploring new product features, and providing essential third-line support for software errors.

 

 

Your job in a nutshell:

As a z/OS System Programmer, you'll lead software lifecycle management, exploring new product features for customer benefit and supporting third-line software issues. Your role includes incident handling, configuration, setup, documentation, and communication with customers and vendors. You'll actively contribute to technical projects, driving system enhancements.

 

What will you be doing:

  • Managing software lifecycle: installation, upgrades, maintenance, and replacements
  • Exploring new product features for customer and company benefit
  • Providing third-line support for software errors and assisting customers
  • Handling incidents, changes, and problems related to software
  • Configuring, customizing, and setting up parameters
  • Documenting and communicating with stakeholders
  • Contributing to technical projects

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive understanding of z/OS and related product software.
  • Proficiency in REXX and JCL programming.
  • Knowledge of installation methods such as SMP/E.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Cobol and/or Assembler
