Project Manager Electronic Payment Methods

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Electronic Payment Methods team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic payments, including familiarity with various payment platforms, technologies, and regulatory requirements. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of electronic payment solutions to meet the needs of our organization and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Electronic Payment Methods team, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for electronic payment initiatives, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, finance, and compliance, to define requirements and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with electronic payment projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of electronic payment systems, analyzing data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in electronic payments, incorporating new technologies and innovations into our payment ecosystem.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on electronic payment methods, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Electronic Payment Methods team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on electronic payments or financial technology.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from conception to implementation, preferably in the electronic payments industry.
• Strong understanding of electronic payment technologies, including but not limited to EMV, NFC, QR codes, mobile wallets, and blockchain.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to electronic payments, such as PCI DSS and PSD2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.

Teleworking: Initially 100% in-person the first months and then hybrid modality.

After 3 months, the candidate would become part of the Workplace client's staff.

Work Address: Barcelona

Working time: 8-hour shift adapted to the client in the Banking Sector
