We are currently seeking a skilled Splunk Developer or Linux Developer who possesses a keen interest in expanding their expertise to encompass Splunk technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to delve into the dynamic realm of Splunk development while leveraging their existing proficiency in Linux environments. Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Building use cases and dashboards in Splunk for our clients 

  • Maintenance and change management of the Splunk environment  

  • Incident and problem management on the Splunk environment  

  • Onboarding of new data sources  

  • Building use cases and dashboards in Splunk for our clients  

  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance characteristics of the Splunk environment 

 

Requirements: 

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in an enterprise infrastructure management organization as a Splunk engineer, in Linux environment. 

  • Experience with Splunk Dashboarding and building use cases in Splunk 

  • Good communication skills, for example: willing to give a presentation, able to influence and lead; knowing what to say to achieve improvement and results 

  • Able to present complex (technical) matters simply. Knows how to distinguish between primary and secondary matters. 

  • A bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of experience at a bachelor’s level in an enterprise environment  

  • Knowledge of Firewalls, Loadbalancers and other infrastructural concepts. 

  • Dutch language
