The UK & Ireland SAP Practice is part of the Business & Platform Solutions division. The practice focuses on winning and delivering services in the SAP suite of products. The role is that of a SAP Manufacturing & Logistics execution SAP Consultant. Primary responsibilities would include:
- Consulting on SAP based manufacturing projects in UK and Ireland
- Interacting with end users for requirement gathering, training and testing
- Design and delivery of SAP solutions to meet business requirements
- Identifying potential consulting opportunities with existing customers and working with peers to develop them further
- Influencing the SAP manufacturing strategy, objectives and direction of the business unit
Additionally, the candidate would be occasionally involved in
- Working with bid teams by assisting development of winning solutions for proposals
- Pre-sales support
8-10 years demonstrable experience delivering SAP solutions against set targets and deadlines. Knowledge of all SAP products associated with manufacturing & logistics execution
SAP Production Planning (PP)
SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI)
SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
SAP Quality Management (QM)
Secondary (Combination of)
SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or
SAP Project Systems (PS) or
SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME) or
Highly motivated individual, capable of working in distributed teams, Proactive attitude to set and achieve objectives.
Experience of multiple successful end-to-end SAP implementations in industries such as consumer goods, foods & beverages, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals etc. involving requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover and post go-live support.
Fluent English language written and verbal.
Experience of writing design documents, functional specifications and configuration documents.
Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
Able to gain respect, trust and confidence of senior management, partners and clients in all situations.
Capable of articulating the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or non-technical.
Experience in leading presentations to senior management level both internally and within the client arena.
Takes a structured and effective approach to own work and is able to manage own time
Customer focused: able to manage multiple aspects of customer relationship and solution delivery simultaneously, recognises and adapts to business changes. Exploits business opportunities in order to deliver “win-win” outcomes.

Business Development experience- The ability to identify new potential business opportunities within existing customers and new organisations
Prior industry experience in areas such as supply chain planning, manufacturing, planning, logistics, warehousing, maintenance etc.
