Job Description:

Network Tooling team is part of Tooling Services organization (TS). Network Tooling Engineer is to provide technical support on network monitoring systems used for fault management, performance management, capacity management, configuration management.

Main duties of a Network Tooling Engineer include:

  • performing advanced diagnosis on incidents
  • implementing standard and non-standard changes to the monitoring environment
  • communicating and consulting with internal and external technical counterparts
  • management of system performance, capacity, service quality
  • participation in projects
  • designing and implementing network and security systems (senior positions)
  • supporting bid management with technical expertise (senior positions)

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with customers

Skills and competencies in (one or more):

  • Network and security awareness (CCNA level)
  • Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Scripting (perl/python or bash)
  • Protocols: SNMP, TCP/IP, AAA
  • DOCKER knowledge
  • Experience with CA Spectrum, CA eHealth will be an advantage

Preferred certifications or equivalent knowledge (one or more):

  • Certified CA Spectrum® Administrator*, Certified CA Spectrum® Professional *
  • Certified CA eHealth® Administrator*, Certified CA eHealth Professional*
