Summary of Activities:

 

  • Customer focus
    • Provide integrated technical counseling to the customers within respective technical scope.
    • Provide advice and guidance to customers on technical solutions, future strategies and innovations.
    • Experience in aligning solutions to business requirements and priorities.
    • Awareness of the wider implications of technical and commercial decisions.
    • Support solution proposal presentations at customer locations and/or internal offices.
    • Prepare the relevant part of presentation material related with the services, architecture and technology aspects of the solution.
    • Has ownership to write the proposal ensuring customers’ requirements.
  • Bid operations
    • Knowledge in Atos bidding and delivery processes and tooling.
    • Participates in bids with a TCV greater than 5M€ leading the technical solution design.
    • Participates in cross-RBU/country bids covering cross-service line services.
    • Aware of the actual implementation of the solutions defined at the bid phase through alignment sessions with the delivery team.
    • Supports the Solution Manager / Solution Architect in technical affairs (including cost impact) in contract negotiations.
  • Solution focus
    • Works within established frameworks to produce technical solutions and designs meeting client requirements.
    • Collaborates with customer architecture teams to ensure alignment and to facilitate design sign-off.
    • Liaises with 3rd Party suppliers and other partners when and where required.
    • Works with SL teams to ensure solutions meet requirements, are supportable and up to the standards.
    • Provides feedback to the CTO on suitability of existing policies/ standards, successes and failures of technical solutions.
    • Provides input to the solution project on migration aspects.
    • Provides consolidated effort estimation on technical solution for overall consolidation, based on methodologies and Atos’ standards for estimation
    • Contributes to risk management by identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
    • Provides direction and support to technical specialists and less experienced architect.
    • Leads and governs the development of technical solution using Atos standards, processes and tools and/or coordinates the respective development teams.
  • Technical focus
    • Understands the technical requirements and designs value added, end to end technical solutions based as much as possible on standard portfolio (service catalogue)
    • Validates the feasibility of the technology with the functional architects.
    • Deep knowledge of the state of the art and good knowledge of Atos Portfolio in the respective technical domain IT Experience in a specialist role incl. technical specifications and familiar with National/International standards associated with IT services.
    • Fully understands standard architecture methodologies, processes and best practices.
    • Experience of Data Centre Transformation and migration projects highly desirable.
    • Experience of workplace/Office 365 projects highly desirable.
    • Experience in ServiceNow
    • Experience of Unified Communications e.g. Lync, Cisco
    • Experience of Migrations, rollouts and Virtualization (Server and Desktop)
    • Experience of Network implementation, migration and upgrade projects including firewalls, physical and virtual networks
    • Experience of Exchange upgrade, consolidation and migration projects
    • Experience of IaaS, Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud
    • Experience of SAP Hana
