Application Modernization (AMS) is one of the largest Atos business practices in Poland. It employs over 1,000 IT professionals in the areas of BA, Testing, Project Management, Data Base, and Development. AMS executes contracts for more than 140 clients from various industries.

 

We are currently looking for an IT Transition and Transformation Manager

 

The primary purpose of the IT Transition and Transformation Manager position is to lead the technology streams of transition programs or projects from planning to final implementation in order to successfully deliver the move of IT services related to software deployment and software maintenance related to move of service teams, environments, tools, and know-how from current IT vendors to Atos-Poland based delivery.

 

Depending on exact service undergoing transition (we execute many Transitions) you may design and/or lead a few weeks transition of a single application support or operate a complex multi-vendor transition program composed of move of IT support of suites of applications.  Customers are usually 1st tier Automotive or Manufacturing corporations from EU.

 

What will you do?

  • You contribute to the pre-sales phase of new projects (description of transition services, design of transition schedules, cost evaluation) and designing the transition solution, considering the constraints of our customers and experience of our IT engineers.
  • You participate in the due diligence and negotiation phases and identify the risks and manage them, throughout the transition project.
  • In larger transition programs you prepare IT project plan and contribute to the overall transition plan highlighting dependencies to the other transition streams.
  • You carry on the commitment of the transition project in accordance with Atos Transition Methodology including Knowledge Transfer, Passive and Active Working Together, handover to Operations.
  • You monitor and control project progress, proactively manage and mitigate project risks, coordinate, manage and develop the supporting documentation.
  • You manage and motivate project team, establish, and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • You contribute to the continuous improvement process, by formalizing feedback, at regular intervals and at the end of the transition phase.
  • You guide / coach customers who are not used to transitioning their services.
  • You will be part of Service Delivery Management / Project Management Team and focusing on IT T&T aspects of ITIL Life cycle processes.

Must have experience and skills

  • Experience in transition management;
  • IT literacy and exceptional communication/stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record of positive change in working methods, either through transformation projects or day-to-day frontline operational experience;
  • Experience managing projects and leading other projects to achieve challenging goals;
  • A good understanding of organizational dynamics and some knowledge of company processes, policies, tools, and methodologies related to operational change;
  • Fluent English;
