For our Mission Critical Systems division, we are looking for a Service Desk Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team at the Vevey location as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Receiving faults and service requests in an exciting area of alerting and communication systems, applications and other critical infrastructures
- You will handle all 1st and 2nd level tasks related to our customers, users and suppliers
- Triaging, tracking and escalation of tickets
- Preparation of reports and statistics
- Proactive system monitoring and support of the systems
- Execution of operational routine activities
- Maintaining documentation and information platforms
- Active assistance in the continuous improvement process
Your profile
- You have completed a technical education in the field of ICT / network and have at least 2 years of professional experience in 1st/2nd level support
- Your excellent communication skills enable you to find a solution to problems even with difficult communication partners
- High customer and service orientation
- You are a person who is eager to learn and enthusiastic and open to new technologies
- You have an analytical approach
- Business fluent in German, French and/or Italian B2 as a plus, English as a company language
- Willingness for extended operating hours and on-call service 7x24h
- Since our projects are in the military, official environment, you meet the conditions to pass the personal security examination PSP (Swiss citizenship or settlement permit C)
