The Opportunity!

As an IT Solution Architect for HLS you will be in charge of designing complex architectures for European projects. This includes understanding customer needs, building solution, and presenting solution to the customer. The Solution Architect will also be in charge of supporting the delivery team to implement the designed architecture once the project starts. This position is open to an experienced IT individual with background in solution architectures, services and data centre operations, and knowledge of Healthcare systems and workflows.

  • Develop vertical solutions in line with Atos Product Portfolio to fit client requirements:

  • Develop a strong expertise in one or several specific Atos’ portfolio offerings

  • Understand client’s business & IT requirements beyond RFP specifications and convert them into tailored technical solutions to win RFPs:

  • Collaborate with internal partners (G)CEPs, account managers, business developers, industry portfolio managers, bid teams etc.) to analyse client requirements & how to address them effectively

  • Participate in bid team briefings meetings, tender documentation, commercial submissions, internal approvals and contract negotiations

  • Design innovative vertical solutions tailored to the specific client needs & aligned with RFP prerequisites

  • Ensure the deliverability of a bid:

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of the solution & the efficiency of the delivery model in coordination with industry operations (timeline, costs & fit to needs)

  • Ensure alignment & consistency of design with Atos portfolio and service delivery capabilities

  • Assist the solutions manager in all technical solution related-activities

  • Report to solutions manager about success/downwards of solutions developed, providing procuring feedbacks on personal customer experience (understanding of needs etc.)

  • Support solution manager in the pre-sales pursuit phase: opportunity prioritization & qualification, pitch preparation for the final Industry Go/No-go



  • Master equivalent in engineering or computer sciences with 6-8 years’ experience in the IT industry and System Integration

  • Experience in Healthcare IT technologies, either Imaging (PACS, RIS,..) or clinical systems (EMR, EHR,..), standards (IHE profiles, DICOM, HL7..), workflows and global healthcare environment. (minimum one, more advantage)

  • Experience in designing complex IT architectures: VMware Cluster, DR and metroclusters, SAN/NAS storage, servers, Oracle and MS SQL Server databases, Windows and Linux operating systems, networks (firewalls and load balancers)

  • Knowledge in security challenges and technologies for cloud and hosted environments in healthcare and good understanding of Service Level Agreements concepts and their impacts on architecture and organisation

  • Knowledge of Cloud/SaaS economic models and experience in large project and/or service bids

  • Fluent in English, both verbally as in writing; other language skills are great asset.
