The Opportunity

The SAP HCM Payroll Consultant will be part of the Atos UK SAP Practice within the Atos B&PS division. They will work as part of the SAP HR team.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP HCM Payroll. This is a hands-on role working with our customers that may involve supporting HR incidents or change requests for our existing SAP payroll customers, implementing HR payroll projects for our customers or supporting the sales cycle to generate new customers and pipeline.

 

Career development and training will also be offered – for example to opportunity to undertake SAP SuccessFactors modules certifications.

 

Ability to travel within the UK is needed for this position. Overseas travel to other Atos sites may be required in the future.

 

You would be required to acquire an SC Security Check to start in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Within SAP Support or Projects provide SAP payroll technical expertise.
  • Provide support within the Atos UK and Northern Europe team and the wider Atos SAP HCM/SuccessFactors community during both learning and project engagements.
  • Keep abreast of developments in area of expertise.
  • Provide updates to senior SAP technical team colleague, Project Managers and Delivery Directors on assigned engagements where required.
  • Share knowledge with other SAP HR team members.
  • Support the creation of detailed project plans, internal/external dependencies and milestones.
  • Support pre-sales and bids for the global practice and involvement in initiatives that drive practice development.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on configuration and system administration experience with SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Ability to support the planning/architect new project requirements.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work with customers and engage stakeholders.
  • Participated in at least 2 rounds of support packs.
  • Knowledge of ROI payroll and UK payroll.
  • SAP integration experience.
  • SAP time management experience.
  • Competent in SAP implementation methodologies such as Activate.
