The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Project Office Manager to join our team. The role will support our Director in early detection and management of risks while ensuring overall control of plans, financial results, reporting, quality, team and partner management. The position ensures the project/program workforce has a detailed understanding of processes, executes them according to standards and increases speed and builds a team spirit and supportive environment.

 

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Planning and controlling projects, containing multiple sub-projects and/or 3rd party activities with external dependencies.
  • Leading a medium size (3-20), multi-site/well-adapted project teams, where Atos is acting as prime, able to run mature processes and improve where there is opportunity.
  • Testing & formal acceptance process based on pre-defined & agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Assessing service readiness & review gate activities & status. Reporting the Quality Assurance status.
  • Able to handle an effective overall change control – documentation, impact analysis (cost, margin, schedule, risk, quality, staffing) and approval by Change Control Board.
  • Supervising the procurement process from 1st request (collect procurement requirements) to final PO. Engages Global & Local suppliers, procurement organization, Account Service Team, ensures the process runs as planned, timeline & budget is met.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of (IT related) project experience, preferably PMO, with extensive knowledge of development lifecycles & processes.
  • University education (e.g. Bachelor or Master). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
  • Prior experience within the FS&I sector and awareness of financial regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of how to own a process, with awareness of process definition, documentation, roll-out, implementation follow-up & process improvement.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and potential to persuade and influence, while also seeking feedback, listening, and demonstrating understanding the viewpoints of others.
