The Opportunity

The Project Manager is responsible for running projects, typically involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the vital resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of sophisticated projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies). Adopts and adapts project management methods and tools, selecting appropriately from predictive or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches.


Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Leading a medium size (3-20), multi-site/well-adapted project team.
  • Plans and controls projects containing multiple sub-projects and/or 3rd party activities with external dependencies.
  • Able to handle an effective overall change control - documentation, impact analysis (cost, margin, schedule, risk, quality, staffing).
  • Provides accruals and tracking of cost of work done, with evidence of corrective actions taken to minimize adverse variances to budget.
  • Handles detailed handover of the project outputs that are accepted by the client and/or standing Atos organization, including the proposal for reallocation of staff and disposal of assets.


Crucial Background Requirements:

  • University education (e.g. Bachelor or Master). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
  • 4-6 years of IT Project Management experience of leading small to medium-sized projects.
  • Proven track record of delivery within the FS&I sector and awareness of financial regulatory requirements.
  • Capability in managing international projects.
  • Has an intermediate level of English to handle a contract (negotiation, day-to-day project).
