Infrastructure as Code Engineer for HPC: 

Do you want to raise the standard of infrastructure management and time for deployment using a combination of tools, scripting languages, protocols, and processes to safely create and configure the needed infrastructure in seconds? This is your opportunity! 

We are seeking Infrastructure as Code Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and administering our Linux-based systems and ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability. 

 

Role responsibilities:

    Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and applications, including servers, networks, and storage devices.

    Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system backups.

    Install and configure software and hardware components, including third-party applications, middleware, and utilities.

    Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools.

    Collaborate with IT teams, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, provide technical support, and implement system improvements.

    Automate the provisioning and configuration of large-scale infrastructure using platforms and tools like: Red Hat, Ansible, Sc Venus, (Chef/Puppet), Git-hub.

    Troubleshoot complex problems within the HPC environment (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Suse)

    Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

    Good working knowledge of English and German languages.
