Financial Controller


The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports, providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making, and enhancing financial processes and controls. Main areas of responsibility are: Group Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, financial KPIs analysis.

 

As a Financial Controller within Atos Global Delivery Center, your typical tasks will include:
•    Work together with the accounting department for the monthly, quarterly, annual closing.
•    Prepare financial reports, according to statutory regulations and corporate accounting policies.
•    Ensure that the financial records are accurate and complete.
•    Analysis of financial KPIs: revenue, costs, gross margin, operating margin, productivity, etc.
•    Assist and contribute to the production of annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
•    Monthly analysis of the Actual figures vs. Budget vs Forecast.
•    Collaborate with each Business Unit Manager and create a link between operation and financial KPIs.
•    Obtain the business understanding to be able to adapt to the company dynamic environment.
•    Ensure that the decision makers in the GDC understand the financial implications of their actions.
•    Making sure that all the reports delivered are in accordance with the Group Reporting Guidelines.

 

Desired profile:
Educational Background: bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge: Understanding IFRS principles and P&L analysis
Previous Experience in controlling area or financial analysis of at least 1-2 years.

 

Required skills:
•    Demonstrate the ability to priorities daily tasks in a rational manner both individually and for the team.
•    Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
•    Personal drive to achieve and exceed targets and support others in achieving targets.
•    Flexible and adaptable attitude.
•    The ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
•    To be able to communicate with stakeholders on a day-to-day basis via telephone/Teams, email, and face to face in a clear, caring, courteous and professional manner.
•    Advanced English language skills, both writing and speaking.
•    MS Office (Excel – advanced skills, PowerPoint, Word).
•    SAP and other financial tools.
