Intern Order Clarification with German (Supply Chain)

For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC) (part of Unified Communication and Collaboration - UCC division) located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for Intern Order Clarification with German

The Order Clarification Manager is responsible for the customer-oriented, economical and technically flawless execution of the order.


Main tasks are in the areas:


  • Pre-Order processing;
  • Contract management
  • Communication with internal and external interfaces, with customers and / or suppliers (national / international)
  • Maintenance and monitoring of procedures and processes as well as escalation and correction in case of errors
  • Order preparation, testing, execution and monitoring, including scheduling and monitoring
  • Asset management for cost optimization (e.g. monitoring of delivery dates for deviations and complaints)


The Business types covered are:


  • Controlling of pre sales order status
  • Technical and logical check of quotations
  • Create quotations manually if needed
  • Small and medium sized standard projects
  • Maintenance contracts


On a daily basis you will be:


  • Processing standard SAP Transactions, such as Order Entry, Order processing, Change, Closure, Billing and proper cost allocation;
  • Validating order packs and confirmations;
  • Following up on delivery status of Purchase orders and updating the relevant IT tools (incl. written and/or verbal communication with relevant stakeholders on changes, issues, escalations)
  • Performing Month-end, Quarter-end and Annual Closing activities in your area of responsibility;
  • Identifying and resolving readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems;
  • Assisting with commercial/ financial contract activities, revenue, margin calculations, etc.;
  • Communicating with, primarily, intra-organizational contacts and some external contacts on invoice clarification activities;
  • Supporting in country Units with Forecast Assumptions
  • Identifying and resolving more complex problems (including those raised by more junior members of your team) and applying problem solving skills to deal with most situations with only a limited number of problems being raised to more senior management;
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards as required;
  • Any additional or ad-hock tasks as requested by direct superior
  • First point of contact of Business Analysts for questions and support of resolving and issues
  • Providing support / back up to his/her direct superior when required




  • Current studies - BS/BA or advanced (University) degree in Business Administration / Finance / Supply Chain or Language (English/German); may be substituted for working experience in the function (i.e. Internship) where applicable;
  • Willingness to learn Contract Management / Order Processing;
  • Very good German Language Skills (B1) and Good Understanding English Language Level;
  • Willingness to learn SAP (or similar ERP system), MS Office, understanding of Workflow and related systems and tools;
  • Networking and Communication Skills with peers and Management;
  • Customer Orientation (internal / external);
  • Analytical Skills and demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion (or problem solving) of assignments;
  • Quality oriented and well organised, team player, proactive and anticipative;
  • Able to prioritize activities and identify and manage risks.
