The HR PY support role is responsible for gathering payroll (PY) related information from Countries and foster the PY engines -usually third-party systems- with the data provided by the local HR organization in each country.

A key aspect of the work will involve interaction with Country HR organizations to ensure the payroll calendar deadlines are known and met demonstrating technical expertise and outstanding customer service skills.


  • Maintain payroll information by assembling and entering data into the PY vehicles. Some cases may require calculation that always will be duly documented;
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures;
  • Maintain employee confidence;
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information;
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Provide management information reports as per agreed schedule and on specific request;
  • Interact with internal customers via telephone, e-mail and chat, providing support and problems solving abilities;
  • Respond to tickets appropriately: Identify, evaluate and prioritize customer problems and complaints;
  • Participate in departmental training activities including training programs in support of new technologies, procedures, and customer service enhancements;
  • Work with departmental staff to promote, develop, and maintain strong customer service values;
  • Bring up unresolved issues to support leads, designated service group.

What do you need:

  • Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail
  • Must have excellent English communication skills
  • Excellent MS Excel skills – be able to use pivot tables, generate reports and use VM Lookups
  • Good use of MS Powerpoint and Word
  • Management of large amounts of data, ensuring accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be considerate of confidentiality
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Ability to follow documented processes and meet deadlines
