Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that deliver clean, reliable data from multiple sources into Snowflake. * Develop and maintain data models and transformations using DBT, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maintainability. * Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure consistent data definitions. * Implement data quality checks, documentation, and version control across data pipelines and models. * Optimize data warehouse performance, storage, and cost efficiency within Snowflake. * Support integration of third-party data sources and APIs into the data platform. * Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, pipeline failures, and performance issues in a proactive manner. * Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to maintain a secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure. Qualifications required: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 3–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role. * Hands-on experience with DBT, including building modular data models, managing macros, testing, and documentation. * Strong experience with Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, and security configuration. * Proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing complex queries. * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and orchestration tools such as Airflow, or Data Factory * Understanding of data warehouse architecture, data governance, and best practices for ELT. * Preferred: * Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms (Salesforce). * Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data automation. * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern data stack tools. * Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, or Tableau.
