We are looking for strong Lead for Legacy Modernization Engineering and customer projects within Cloud Enterprise Solution. Should have proven experience in managing Mainframe and Midrange and application transformation projects and engineering projects. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Mainframe / midrange and cloud fundamentals. Should be able to manage multiple project teams delivering such projects, ensure adherence to timelines, cost and utilisation. Confident to work in a global cross functional team


Must have skills 

Working as program manager or delivery manager/delivery leader on legacy modernization/transformation programs for last 3-5 years.

Previous experience should include 15+ years of experience on various mainframe, midrange technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, RPG, DB2, GDGs, MQ, CICS Web Services, APIs.

Excellent operations skills (resource planning, demand management, resource fulfilment, rotation planning, bulge mix management, KPI planning, knowledge management etc), risk management skills

Should have managed different types of modernization programs (such as re-hosting, re-engineering, tool assisted conversion, SaaS/COTS implementation,  business rules extraction, monolith to micro services, cloud implementation etc)

Should have managed large multi-location teams (50+ member teams at least)

Working with cross functional teams within the organization (including Delivery Managers, Delivery Directors, Sales, Senior Architects from other technologies/practices etc).

Good customer facing & presentation skills – including presentations to key stakeholders (Senior leaders, Senior Directors, CXOs etc)

Fundamental level knowledge in any of the cloud platforms – GCP/AWS/Azure

Good communication and people skills – you will have to interact with peers and various levels within the organization from junior developers to senior architects


Good to have skills:

Associate or Professional level certifications in GCP/AWS/Azure

Hands-on experience in any one or more of the latest frameworks in Java or .NET technology
