Your target role


The Hybrid Cloud IT Architect works in the areas of pre-sales, project work, standardization and innovation with a focus on project & pre-sales. He is responsible for the conception and implementation of cloud solutions. The result is an end-to-end solution design that combines cloud technologies from different application or technology areas in terms of the desired function. The Hybrid Cloud IT Architect has expert knowledge for agile and iterative development processes. He knows the Atos organization and the cloud portfolio and can adapt his knowledge to the current situation with the customer. The Hybrid Cloud IT Architect is responsible for the quality of the solution he designs. It forms the interface between the customer's stakeholders and the Atos organization.


This includes in particular the following tasks:



  • Design and description of solution architectures of cloud subsystems / sub-processes with low dependency including the determination of the associated cost factors as preparation for a customer offer
  • Advising the customer on technical topics and innovations in the area of sub-system tasks with low dependence including responsibility for implementation


  • Management and control of the development of technical solutions according to Atos and customer standards as well as processes in a subproject
  • Technical coordination and consulting of the development, operating and/or service teams including architecture documentation
  • Close cooperation with the client's architecture team or higher-level architect, thereby ensuring compliance with customer requirements and the achievement of customer acceptance

Work closely with the program/project managers to ensure adherence to the schedule standardization:

  • Responsibility that the designing cloud architecture meets the required requirements for system management

Integration of technical solution components into the Atos tool and process concept innovation:

  • Identification of reusable building blocks for future projects
  • Track new developments/trends in the cloud sector and thereby make active contributions to improvements in technology, development processes, guidelines, checklists and best practices in his field of expertise

Your profile

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or similar studies
  • Professional skills: Knowledge in the field of OS (e.B. Linux/Windows), network, security, and storage/backup, cloud knowledge in the field of GCP, AWS, Azure, RedHat or VMware is desirable
  • Languages: English (B2), a second language such as French, German, Dutch, Spanish will be considered an advantage 
  • Business-related competencies: customer focus, business-oriented, innovative, entrepreneurial, analytical-strategic thinking
  • Social skills: communication and contact skills, intercultural competence and integration skills
