The Cloud Account Manager focuses on new business development into new target and existing customer organisations in the enterprise and public sector markets. This is a true hunter role that is supported with marketing, bid management, sales enablement, technical pre-sales and commercial resources.

The Cloud Account Manager works with organisations to support their journey into the Cloud for their Unified Communications and Contact Centre environments. Atos has created their own platforms using two software: Ring Central for an office phone platform and NICE as a Service (Atos Cloud Contact Centre). Our offerings have been tailored to our markets where we focus on the end-to-end customer objective; what is the customer looking to achieve short, mid and long term and how can we support them realising their objectives.

The role of Business Development in this area is to be a trusted advisor to the customer. Someone who takes time to get to know them as a business and the people within it so that strategy can be shaped to best effect positive customer change and experience when working with Atos.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving business development and growth, working into the Head of Sales for Northern Italy.
  • New target customer acquisition in our target markets within the enterprise and public sector markets
  • Identify & lead sales opportunities, present capabilities, and gain commitment from prospects for the sales of UCC portfolio (Unified Communications (core telephony and cloud), Contact Centre, Oracle Cloud and MS Teams wrap around services
  • Deal and contract management (managing the customer journey from securing the deal to contracted business and handover)
  • Participate in industry events, customer forums and provide inputs to the sales support and bid teams to improve win ratios



  • 5-6 years of experience in the sector is a must
  • Client facing with excellent communication & leaderships skills
  • Strong result orientation with the ability to positively affect outcomes
  • Ability to influence decisions by leading sales presentations and articulating Atos UCC positioning, value proposition and relevant experience
  • Consultative and structured approach while investigating client needs, demonstrating capability, and obtaining commitment
  • Strong ability in developing and delivering presentations and proposals
  • Establish thought leadership position with key stakeholders - presenting Atos as a long-term Partner.


Internal Expectations

  • Must have the capability to understand client expectations and translate to internal teams clearly establishing client expectations / shaping our win strategy and proposal
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and leverage the wider Atos (Industry Team)
  • Timely updates to internal CRM systems and sales reporting
