Main tasks

Implementation and support in development projects, in particular:

  • Programming and implementation
  • Developer tests
  • Code documentation
  • Configuration of used / created software components
  • Analysis and design activities
  • Further development of the company's own products with Java and/or C/C++
  • Support in the conception of the company's own products
  • Development of architecture proposals in the team
  • Documentation with the help of suitable tools
  • On-schedule implementation of (sub-) projects according to development specifications
  • Consideration of security requirements
  • Carrying out automated tests with the help of unit test frameworks

Knowledge, skills, experience, training

  • Professional experience in modern software development or knowledge in the areas of software development, cryptography.
  • A (technical) apprenticeship or a degree, e.g. in computer science, business information technology or mathematics, is an advantage, but is not a prerequisite.

 

Technical Skills

  • Programming languages: Java and/or C/C++
  • Basic knowledge of cryptography
  • Experience with cryptography libraries, such as BouncyCastle and/or OpenSSL are desirable, but not a prerequisite
  • Experience in software modelling using UML
  • Practical experience in test automation
  • Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
  • Experience in the area of databases is desirable (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MariaDB, etc.)
  • GUI development, e.g. with JavaFX, Angular or wxWidgets
  • Experience in the enterprise environment, preferably with Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience in designing consumer software / software for end users
  • Source code management systems (preferably GIT)
  • Basic knowledge of project planning (e.g. MS Project) is desirable, but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, design and implementation of system integration projects with a focus on cryptographic solutions, such as public key infrastructures and email security.
  • Experience in high availability, virtualization, software distribution and configuration management in heterogeneous infrastructures under Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge of basic IT protection
