  • As a Research Python developer you will participate in the specification, design and implementation of European R&D projects in its different phases.
  • You will be part of a team in the development of software assets and prototypes, focused on the integration of information (data), technical and security architectural elements in order to contribute and develop algorithms and services that support our running projects, but also put the foundations for evolving new ones in the projects of the future. 
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest tools, trends and technology through active participation in research and development initiatives.


Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Telco Engineer
  • Minimum 3 years of experience programming in python and in development of integration, testing and validation plans of microservices and platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud deployment (Docker).
  • Business fluent English. Ability to hold conference calls and write technical documentation in the language.
  • Availability to travel abroad (2/3-day trips inside Europe once a month in average)


Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Javascript
  • Experience in cloud and services development.
  • Experience in different AI/ML stacks: Tensorflow and Keras.
  • Experience in different DDBB: Mongo, ElasticSearch.
  • Experience developing services with Docker: writing Dockerfiles, orchestration with Docker-Compose, Swagger, Rancher, Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Git, writing test cases and performing code reviews
  • Knowledge on Energy, Climate and Decarbonization research topics: Energy value chain, stakeholders, technology, digitalization.
  • Experience in European funded Projects (H2020) defending results in General Assemblies and Reviews.
  • Proficiency writing articles for different conferences and journals.
