The Opportunity

 

As a Program Director you will have extensive prior (IT related) project experience of and have a consistent record of delivery within the FS&I sector and awareness of financial regulatory requirements. Typically, you will deliver large, high-profile projects and programs of work, with large budgets, establishing and maintaining the accurate structures to control and supervise the results to the business.

Аbility to travel within Spain and to visit customers will be needed for this position.

 

Requirements

  • University education (e.g. Bachelor or Master) or a relevant professional qualification. PMI or Prince2 certification would be an advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience in Program and Project management for the Finance; Banking; Insurance sector
  • Provide mentorship and direction to implement project reviews and evaluation
  • Plan and control very complex portfolios of projects in highly politicized engagements where most achievements will be considered immovable. Manages large, geographically dispersed teams
  • Demonstrate ability to think quickly and re-direct large programs to achieve the desired business goals.
  • Proven record of realistic estimation and demonstration of the financial/cost awareness along with the customer facing and behavioral skills to take ownership for several large projects
  • Lead seamless handover of the project outputs that are accepted by the client and/or standing Atos organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively sophisticated information to different audiences and to lead workshops and presentations
  • Proficient in English to manage a contract (negotiation, day to day project)

 

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Leading large geographically dispersed, multi-cultural, multi-disciplined project teams and subcontractors.
  • Defining the project requirements/scope with senior partners. Leading requirement definitions and acceptance measures to remove ambiguity.
  • Coordinating large-size IT international programs, within scope of expertise.
  • Promoting cross-functional team working, while actively seeking opportunities to strengthen teamwork between groups.
  • Producing budgets and identifying controls to maintain a profitable environment.
  • Influencing and managing senior partners to constructively change standard approaches based on experience, knowledge and/or sophisticated thinking
  • Ability to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen
