Role Description:

We are looking for a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Radio Access and Core Network deployments and system integration skills in Tier-1 carrier environments. This is a Pre-Sales Solutions architect role responsible for Solutioning to RFPs and end-to-end system integration solution development, including creation of High-Level Description (HLD), creation and validation of deployment Methods of Procedure and investigation/resolution of product issues.


Here you will provide technical leadership to deployment/support engineers and solutioning leadership to external customers and multiple internal teams in Sales, R&D, and Product Management.


For this position we need:

  • Thorough hands-on knowledge of all existing RAT’s including small cells, mMIMO and familiar with 2G-5G architecture, with a clear track record of excellence managing wireless access engineering systems.
  • Hands-on experience with new product introductions in lab and field with major Global service providers and various technology providers.
  • Broad technical knowledge in Radio & Mobile Broadband products, solutions, and services.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of integration, test and deployment methodologies, and working on RAN Swap and RAN Refresh projects and hands-on experience with lab testing, field trial of 2G,3G,4G and 5G radio, features and software.
  • Strong technology expertise, proven leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, superb technical skills, and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Operational experience with LTE, LTE-A, WiFi including industrial technology domain.
  • Extensive experience leading solution design of next generation wireless systems with a proven ability to discuss technical scope with a wide range of external (customer engineering, operations, tech marketing) and internal peers (R&D, product management).
  • Well-versed in 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN and Core mobile technologies including OpenRAN (CU/DU/RU) and EPC/5GC architectures and protocols.
  • RF Optimization knowledge and experience.
  • Understanding of the software development cycle of carrier-class software, OSS/BSS integration, testing and deployment in a Tier1 network operator environment.
  • Solid understanding of Web services, XML, JSON, HTTP, REST, WebSocket, SOAP and various APIs of advantage.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies including NFV, ESXI, OpenStack and Containers.
  • Understanding of Network-based distributed databases e.g., Cassandra, Swift, Couch.
  • Familiar with 3GPP/OMA/ETSI/IETF and other standards related to telecom solutions.
  • Degree in computer science / telecom / electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed to field sites.
