Role Description:

We are looking for a dedicated, pro-active and experienced IT Governance Consultant to join our diverse team in Atos. As a It governance consultant you will work to support clients with IT controls advisory and assurance services and/or IT control transformation programmes.




  • Review IT controls around Regulatory Reporting, identifying improvements, efficiencies and opportunities to automate.
  • Respond to RFPs and bids for Client projects, bringing together the best of Atos to showcase our solutions and capabilities in response to a Client challenge.
  • Business develop e.g. involvement in large tenders / proposals).
  • Support the definition and implementation of the IT Government Office in our clients.
  • Establishment of the overarching IT Governance and IT Compliance function.
  • Development and setup of a professional IT reporting based on the IT strategy.
  • Design and implementation of an enterprise Tech/IT Management Framework incl. set up of methodology for IT policies and procedures.
  • Establishment and ongoing maintenance of the central control inventory across all IT processes and first contact person for all IT process owners regarding IT controls.
  • Management of compliance, governance and cost management according to international standards (e.g. SOX, Information Security, etc.).
  • Establishment of a central IT Vendor Management (e.g. inventory, standard contracts, processes and regulation for contract owners).
  • Design, definition and implementation of processes and monitoring dashboards.
  • Preparation, and performing of training sessions.
  • Strong communication skills, confident and persuasive communication style.


For this position we need:

  • Ability to identify and assess complex existing and emerging technology risks, relate them to the wider business context and express opinions clearly
  • Experience of IT controls related to regulatory reporting particularly useful.
  • Understanding of the business processes / products / keys risks / EU regulatory framework
  • Understanding and knowledge of SOX compliance and regulations
  • Ability to present on specific subjects to a large audience
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Business development experience (e.g. involvement in large tenders / proposals)
  • Aptitude for embracing and adapting to new technologies and challenges
  • Experience of fee negotiations and negotiating scope changes
  • Ability to build co-operative relationships and fosters an environment in which everyone’s opinion is valued
  • Coaching and mentoring of colleagues that supports individual’s development needs and career aspirations.


Additional skills & experience

  • 5+ years in IT, strong track record in IT Governance & Compliance, audit and process management.
  • 2+ years leadership experience.
  • Degree/masters qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business
  • Knowledge of and experience with common standards and best practices such as COBIT, ITIL, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in Service Now.
  • PowerBI knowledge
  • Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio and Project)
  • English C1. (Required)
