Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated, pro-active and experienced Agile Coach to join our diverse team in Atos. Here you will be responsible for crafting a strategy for the organisational adoption of Agile. This includes every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement.



  • Coach agile teams in the methodology. Using techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. In order to do this, you'll also embody the Agile principles and lead by example. 
  • Supports and trains the Product Owner, especially on backlog refinement.
  • Supports and educates the Dev team on DevOps practices and tools (e.g. TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD, etc.) Help teams navigate agile tools and software.
  • Facilitates discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution. 
  • Builds a trusting and safe environment in their teams where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on team harmony and problem-solving. 
  • Providing support to their team using a servant / leader style and leading by example. 
  • Guides teams to remove the project impediments blocking them by finding the right personnel to resolve issues and risks. 
  • Partners with other teams to instill insights and best practice across the business.
  • Responsible for polices and standards for the Centre of Excellence with regard to Agile to ensure best practice and support teams in their adherence to them.
  • Leads an Agile community of best practice, engaging local and global colleagues.
  • Presenting and depicting the rationale of findings in simple, engaging and easy to understand business terms to a diverse group of partners.


For this position we need:


  • Higher Engineer or Technical Degree.
  • At least 4 years of experience in accompanying and transforming organizations to an agile work methodology.
  • Experience of implementing and mentoring Agile in large complex organisations where cultural change has been successfully implemented in practicing waterfall teams. 
  • A deep understanding of DevOps environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision makers and teams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile tools including, but not limited to, Jira, Confluence. 
  • Possessing prior experience mentoring teams in Agile adoption or as a Scrum Master 
  • Able to undertake and successfully gain SC level security clearance checks.
  • One of these certificates: 
    • CTC – Certified Team CoachSM
    • CRC – Certified Enterprise Coach
    • SAfe Agilist (SA).
