Account CTO- Enterprise Architect

 

Location: Kansas City

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Regular business hours, occasional weekends

 

What will you do?

The Account CTO/Enterprise Architect is the Atos technical leader accountable for defining the technical vision, roadmap and technical strategy solving customer business problems.

They are responsible for continuously driving customer innovation around new and emerging technologies & services from Atos and its Partners.

Apart from Innovation, the CTO/EA is responsible for Technical/functional Implementation and related topics including architecture, design, cost competitiveness and service optimization - ensuring full customer satisfaction.

He/she is responsible for managing technical teams of Architects, technical specialists and domain experts. Creativity is key, he/she would be able to in-depth understand the Business of your customer and translate that back into new services we create for your customer as well as for the Atos HLS portfolio. Creativity combined with leadership skills is required to be part of the account management team and drive the partnership with the customer.

 

 

What are your responsibilities?

 

Solution Design and Delivery

  • Continuous development of customer specific vision, enabling a client to transform their organization.
  • Account Architecture Authority, providing Governance and Assurance (both pre and post sales) designing wide areas of change, transition or transformation.
  • Accountable for solutions & architectures being defined and deployed conform to Atos policies wherever possible.
  • Leverage Industry specific engineering and delivery capabilities, Identify gaps with respect to exciting and relevant solutions and services.
  • Accountable for peer review and quality control, the design authority mitigating risks of projects and programs
  • Maintain awareness of developments in Atos’ technical strategy and innovation processes as these evolve and apply them to the specific needs of the account.
  • Creative mindset combined with leadership skills to drive the partnership between the customer and Atos.

Planning and Selling

  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with customer. Lead or technically support account engagements as required.
  • Ensures that the client derives maximum benefit from Atos’ wider portfolio (Horizontal and Industry).
  • Gather information about clients’ landscape, pain points, and strategic imperatives.
  • Be the central point of contact for all stakeholders for purposes of technical transformation.
  • Cooperate with other functions within Atos & Partners to develop a commercial a commercial bid for your vision.
  • Support account pre-sales activities providing specific technical expertise as required.

Portfolio Development

  • Support the Global CTO for Industry to identify and prioritize portfolio investments and R&D projects and programs.
  • Support PoCs/PoVs/Co-development in Account as deemed appropriate.
  • Account feedback - Contribute to further development of Industry and horizontal portfolio, feeding back recommendations, requirements (with definitions) and customer/market insights.

People Management

  • A proven change leader with strong customer centricity, motivating teams to achieve success.
  • Attract, reskill and retain talent with Industry knowledge & expertise, digital skills and critical competencies.
  • Review performance of Account Customer Landscape architects, technical specialists and other selected team members.
  • Source resources with the right skills/ capabilities working collaboratively with divisions/practices and ensure proper integration for end customers.

 

 

 

 

Required skills and expertise:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Architect roles in medium to large customer environments.
  • Experience in complex Architectural customer environments in the area of Infrastructure, Applications and preferably Industry knowledge.
  • Required deep knowledge of Atos Horizontal and Industry Portfolio, architect processes tools and offering and ability to translate customer requirement into Atos services.
