Job Description

-  Creating service solution architecture and service design based on modern Virtual Workplace solutions (Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, VMWare Horizon)

- Analyzing existing IT infrastructure

- Advising on service solution

- Creating technical service documentation for new services

- Presenting the solution to customer (service demo)

- Coordinating service setup in the customer environment

- Supporting Proof of Concept for new services/technologies

Job Requirements

- IT architect experience – service architect

- Experience in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop technologies or

- Experience in VMware Horizon View technologies

- Ability to translate architecture/design into real implementation

- Virtual Workplace experience proven by real implementation projects

- Practical knowledge of the following technologies: Citrix IMA, DFS-R, DHCP, DNS, MS GPO, SQL clustering

- Being familiar with hypervisor solutions (XenServer, HyperV, VMWare)

- Architecture experience in designing and implementing High-Availability, distributed systems

- Knowledge and experience in storage architecture and related problems – performance, scaling High-Availability

- Ability to support multiple business needs at once and work with little oversight

- Ability to solve problems and proactive attitude

- Capability to read and write technical documentation 

- Ability to work well in a team

- High motivation to self-development

- Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills

- Fluent German

- Conversational English

- Good knowledge of the German (verbal and writing) is a plus

- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is a plus

- Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM product is a plus
