Business System Analyst

Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX.

Work as Business System Analyst and Product Owner, with a blend of subject matter and technical expertise, managing policy administration, robotic process automation and ServiceNow development projects in property & casualty space, involving technologies such as Phoenix Integration in C# and .NET, Pega, and Freeway automation for RPA.

Review existing business processes and suggest new business process models to simplify and improve the existing business processes.

Determine and define the features of a product prior to its release.

Define product roadmap and groom features.

Work with a Scrum team comprising of Scrum master and developers to deliver product.

Lead projects using Applications Management competency and Project Management competency skills to take ideas from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Advise and implement Change Management wherever needed.

Use knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodology to layout business requirement, create user stories and deliver the requirements of the projects.

Attend sprint planning and demo meetings to give feedback on sprint achievement, as well as to Scrum team.

Manage product backlog and have backlog visibility to prioritize user stories for implementation.

Maintain feedback channels concerning product release and customer opinion.

Develop and implement action plans for building and sustaining demand for a product.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related, and Five (5) years of Business Analyst experience in Property & Causality Insurance domain, or related.

Five (5) years of required Business Analyst experience in Property & Causality Insurance domain, or related must include: Agile/Scrum software development; Policy Administration; JIRA; Zephyr; Robotic Process Automation; and IT Service Management (Service Now).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: SAFe Practitioner Certificate.

Reports to company headquarters in Irving TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
