Manages a team of onshore and off-shore resources.

  • Responsible for ensuring the process for Month End Close of North American entities in SAP are complete and timely. Ensuring teams are completing the following and serving as a point of escalation and support when needed:
    • Processing of financial accounting transactions into the general ledger, including collecting, recording, verifying and reconciling financial data;
    • Processing financial accounting transactions, such as journal entries, adjustments, and eliminations (e.g., accruals, debits, and credits);
    • Coordinating and executing the closing of the books and the consolidation;
    • Consolidating at both business and corporate level (with intercompany reconciliation);
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring Balance Sheet Reconciliation (monthly, quarterly, yearly) analysis are done timely and discrepancies are reviewed and corrective actions taken as required
    • Reconciling accounts and reconciling across multiple systems;
    • Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly trial balance;
    • Processing month-end/quarter-end/year-end consolidation;
    • Handling reserves and provisioning methodologies;
  • Own the JE Review and Approval Process, Policy Development / Implementation and Compliance and KPI reports
    • Reporting and Analytical reviews on JE Review and Approvals for audit compliance
    • Data and Documentation Governance for Audit Compliance
  • Consolidation Reporting
    • Ensure reporting of Packs are complete
    • Respond to questions / analysis from Group on variances
    • Develop / provide ad-hoc reporting to internal customers as needed
  • Audit Support and Internal Controls Management
    • Ensuring historical comparability for auditors
    • Provide audit support as part of external, internal and tax audit;
    • Ensure timely completion of Closing File Activities
  • Acquisition support
    • BS SPOC For Acquisitions
