Application Modernization Competency Centre - Presales and Solution Manager

Come join the Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) team for Application Modernization Competency Centre - PreSales and Solution Manager and be part of the growth acceleration of innovative services. THE OPPORTUNITY Within Atos, TmT is a business unit managing growing market-demand on digital transformation. To drive our business in Applications modernization solutions and strategy across our enterprise customer list we are recruiting PreSales and Solution Managers .



As PreSales lead and solution manager, you will be accountable to take our offerings to the market for our existing and new accounts and support our Client Exec Partner and Sales lead Globally. You should be articulate value propositions to external customers, specially to executive members of their organisation and work closely with our Internal stake holder to increase our portfolio, work closely with practice on case to case basis and involve other practices to bolster the growth of our Competency Centre.



We are looking for someone that understands how to do Pre Sales, bid, and Solution management. Someone who can manage ambiguity of requirements, map them to a business strategy and is able to articulate the value to senior stakeholders in ATOS, customers and partners. You will collaborate with teams in TmT Business Development, Sales and Solution Architecture to qualify, propose solutions and also do solution management for the deals on Application modernization, Oracle strategy.



  • Responsible for the identification, qualification and shaping of strategic deals in TmT for Apps Mod Competency Centre.
  • Qualify such deals to assure the balance between pre-contract engagement, and winnable opportunity · Define the win strategy for the TmT deals. Coordinate with the internal stakeholders to craft the best in class solutions
  • Take our offerings to the customers senior management, plan customer workshops
  • Planning of solution sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the modernization approach
  • Work in a consultative framework to identify App Mod opportunities, defining the proposition fit and pitching tailored solutions
  • Coordination and organization of demand generating activities like roadshows and customer workshops to showcase our digital portfolio offerings
  • Work closely with other required practice and pull help as of when needed to create proposals and contracts for customer deals
  • Extremely comfortable in articulating vision as well as plans to senior executives, in ATOS, partners and customers
  • Closing and delivery of deals is done by other functions within TmT, as a solution manager working with the right teams to craft a winnable solution.


THE RIGHT PERSON ...will be able to demonstrate:

  • Have experience in technical pre-sales and solutions, ideally a track record of working on Application Management, Cloud and Digital technologies for more than 5 years. · Bring a consultative background or thinking in analyzing and solving customer problems or opportunities
  • Financial knowledge and understanding of deals.
  • Proactive and organised with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in working with cross cultural teams.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English



  • · At least 5+ years in technology sales or relationship management Should have telecom experience
  • · Must have a bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree will be an advantage. Cloud certification with any of the hyperscaler’s (Google, AWS, Azure) are mandatory
