The Role

As an PLM IT Specialist you will work as a part of PLM & Infra team. Tasks in this position will consist of:

  • Siemens PLM solution installations, upgrades and configurations. 
  • Database software (MS SQL, Oracle) installations and configurations
  • Hardware and network sizing and optimizing consultation related to Siemens PLM solutions
  • Backup and security consultation
  • Server, Database and solution consultation & support
  • Client software installations and scripting
  • PLM Monitoring tools and tool development
  • Contacting Siemens (GTAC or other) in issues regarding previously mentioned areas.

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent English, both oral and written
  • Experience of PLM / ERP system administration and implementation
  • Solid understanding of Windows server environments (Linux environments is an asset)
  • Experience of database administration (MS SQL / Oracle)
  • Experience of scripting tools (batch scripts, powershell)
  • Some experience of Cloud platforms (Azure/Amazon)
  • Some experience of Windows security administration
  • Working at non-regular hours if needed
  • Above all, a team player with a positive can-do attitude
