Your working environment:
The "Account Payments Product Management Team" is responsible for the development, acceptance and maintenance of the entire product portfolio within the Payments area. The portfolio covers Bank and Corporate payment products, Clearing and Settlement, Instant Payments, Access to Account (PSD2), Third Party Provider Solutions, digital routing services, Mobile Payment Solutions, API solutions and back-office payments processing. The team develops products defined in the product roadmap and anticipates on market life cycle plans and defines the roadmap and anticipates on market developments, works out product concepts in concrete services by supporting the product development process from the business side and maintains and accepts new products leading to a competitive and innovative product portfolio. Product Management is responsible for the performance and profitability of the existing products, while introducing new features based on market and client needs.
Key responsibilities of the Product Manager (m/w/d) include:
- Defines and lead product portfolio expansion regarding new and existing markets
- Defines the Product portfolio roadmap in cooperation with the respective Product Specialist an based on market and client needs.
- Generates and defines high level business requirements and supports requirements specifications
- Main contact for Account Payments Back Office Processing pre-sales activities
- Lead resource for Bid management in generating professional proposals to clients including internal approval processes and business case calculation
- Lead the planning and prioritization of new products and changes within the focus area
- Defines and monitors the Product Portfolio Life Cycle
- Ensures that pricing is in line with Product suite and according to market expectations
- Align with Product Specialists on new investments for product enhancement
Education, Experience and Skills requirements:
- Bachelor or Master Degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Payments industry (preferably from within a bank)
- Solid knowledge of payment products including SEPA, e-payments, international payments
- Affinity with PSD2, Instant Payments and domestic schemes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability
- Client-centric and proactive attitude
