The opportunity
Reporting to the ER & Advisory Centre Manager, you will be responsible for providing operational HR advice and guidance with a primary focus on supporting IAS with managing absence effectively and reducing absence across the Independent Assessment Services (IAS) account.

Working closely with the Employee Relations team, who are an energetic and busy team seeking to support all employees in helping to resolve workplace issues. This role is based in the North West/South/North East/UK Wide (location is flexible) and will require the successful candidate to spend some of their working week on site.


Skills we can’t do without:
•    Experience of supporting and guiding Managers on Absence Management policy and processes.
•    Strong understanding of UK&I employment legislation.
•    Highly qualified in Microsoft office tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint.
•    Shows initiative, has strong relationship-building skills and is persuasive.
•    Interpersonal skills on a high level.
•    Ability to demonstrate a pro-active approach.
•    Established and proven background in a HR Advisor role.
•    Strong HR ER experience gained in high volume, transactional environments with disciplinary, grievance, probation and sickness absence management cases.
