We are currently looking for Technical Change coordinator.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Together with the operational teams ensure that all proposed changes are reviewed in terms of feasibility, their ability to meet business requirements, and that their impact on service quality is minimized.
  • Raise and track Technical Change Management related issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues and escalate appropriately where required
  • Liaises with all necessary parties to coordinate change building, testing and implementation, in accordance with schedules
  • Ensure updates to the change log are made with all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to take opportunities to improve service quality
  • Reviews all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives; refers any that have been backed out of have failed
  • Analyses change records to determine any trends
  • Align & Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all technical information is provided to ensure a smooth execution of the change

Technology and Skills:

 

  • This position requires a strong IT technical foundation of knowledge
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to form strong relationships within a matrix organization.
  • Good understanding of service management principles including management of configuration items (CIs), thinking in a service context, and defining outcomes-based delivery.
  • Proven technical background/experience in at least 2 of the following IT infrastructure technologies:

 

  1. Red Hat Linux
  2. VMware
  3. Azure IAAS/Paas
  4. Storage & Backup

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Proven working experience as Change coordinator or change manager will be an advantage
  • ITIL V3 or V4 certification will be an advantage
  • Working experience in Network technologies:

 

  1. Network routing & Switching
  2. Load balancing
  3. Firewall
  4. DNS & DHCP
