A Project and Program Management Office (PMO) is a central hub that provides structure and centralized coordination in order to support, enable and ensure Projects and Programs achieve objectives. 



A Project Office Manager supports the Project or Program Manager / Director in early detection and management of risks, while ensuring overall control of plans, financial results, reporting, quality, team and stakeholder management, by demonstrating leadership and autonomy in any of the PMO services and by standing-in for the Program Director when needed. 

Additionally, the Project Office Manager ensures project or program workforce has a thorough understanding of processes, executes them according to standards and increases speed and ensure repeatability of delivery by consistent application of methodology.


As PMO Manager you will:


  • Ensure the project is strictly following the existing methodology, as applicable per the type of project deployed. Guide project team members to ensure right standards are being used.
  • Organize & chair program meetings (internally and externally). Clearly define Gives & Gets for every project meeting, structured communication and moderation to achieve expected meeting results.
  • Moderate and ensure structure in following-up, open actions are closed as per agreed timeline, facilitate problem solving and decision making.
  • Contribute to the set-up of a structured reporting mechanism (clear ownership, due dates, expected content & quality). Manage the team to provide the reports complete and on time. Absolute quality and accuracy in all reports is being pursued.
  • Setup and maintain a trustable Program Repository, with a clear structure, with proper access management (Internal & external) and naming conventions.
  • Able to retrieve, handle & store/achieve project documents, all maintained in a structured CI record of all program artifacts & versioning.
  • Effectively communicate complex information to different audiences. Commands attention and can manage large groups (for example, during a presentation). Actively engages and manages stakeholder community.
  • Proactively seeks customer feedback and takes appropriate action. Always considers the impact of decisions/actions on the customer, perceiving issues from their point of view. Effectively manages and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Lead medium size multi site/disciplined project team.
  • Keep control over the Program Plan (and subsequent Project Plans), monitoring planned vs achieved tasks,% completion, dependencies & due dates and ensure early warning for: possible delays & impact, overallocation of resources, deviations from critical path overall program / T&T milestones.
  • Identify risks & issues owners and ensure mitigation plans are identified & applied.


Apply if:

  • You have at least 2 years experience as PMO or Project Leader, preferably in an international environment
  • You have knowledge and experience with MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)

  • You have great communication skills, you know how to communicate with managers and people on the shop floor
  • You display a dedicated attitude and assist clients in choosing the best solution possible
  • You easily understand clients’ needs in various business models

  • You are pragmatic, organized and structured
  • You are strongly result oriented and have a hands-on mentality
  • You are a good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative



It would be a plus if you:

  • Possess Project management certification (PRINCE2/PMP/Agile frameworks)
  • Be fluent in German/French/Spanish/Dutch
