Application Administrator

 

As Application Administrator you will be responsible for providing daily support in administrating, maintaining and supporting Web application and Linux system and environment.

The role requires ability to efficiently complete and coordinate different tasks, communicate efficiently with global stakeholders and perform basic and more complex troubleshooting.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Administrating, maintaining and supporting business & custom Web applications,
  • Administrating, maintaining and supporting business & custom Linux servers,
  • Manage and resolve incident, problem and change tickets,
  • Monitoring and performance analysis,
  • Tasks coordination within internal and third party teams,
  • Auditing webserver logs, fixing security vulnerabilities and patching web services according to security rules,
  • Automating with use of Puppet
  • Participation in projects,
  • Scripting and programming skills (Java, Python, PowerShell),

 

Key requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Web/Application servers and/or Middleware software,
  • Proficient knowledge of operating Linux and Windows systems,
  • English B1 and higher,
  • Familiar with ITIL or Agile methodology,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to different situations,
  • Ability to work independently and act as a part of the team,
  • Ability to lead internal trainings.
