We’re looking for R&D Data Engineer


Mandatory requirements

  • They should be Senior developers, with huge experience programming.
  • Mastering in some of the following languages: Python, Scala, Java, Kotlin.
  • Basic AWS knowledge: IAM, Security groups, EC2, S3…
  • Unit Testing in some of the following libraries: PyTest, ScalaTest, Junit.


Important requirements

  • Infrastructure as a Code, experience working in some of the following libraries:
  • Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Terraform.
  • Good python level.
  • Experience working with Scala and Spark.
  • Experience working with the following AWS components: Glue, Cloudformation, ECS, Lambdas, API Gateway.
  • Docker.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools: Gitlab CI/CD, Travis, Jenkins, Spinnaker
  • Experience working in real Big Data projects, processing huge amounts of data.


Nice to have

  • Experience administering any kind of infrastructure. They are not going to be "only" a developer. They will have to care about the infrastructure.
  • Streaming pipelines: Kafka, Kinesis, Spark structured streaming, Flink, Beam, Kafka streams, Dataflow, Akka Streams...
  • Experience working with workflow engines: Airflow, Luigi, Argo…
  • Experience with time series databases: AWS Timestream, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB…
  • Experience with other NoSQL databases: Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, Solr, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Neptune…
  • Experience administering Hadoop Clusters: EMR, Cloudera, Hortonworks, Databricks…
  • Kubernetes (Amazon EKS): Deploying in Kubernetes and/or administering Kubernetes Clusters.
  • Data security: AWS Lake Formation, Apache Ranger, Apache Sentry...
  • Machine learning infrastructure: Kubeflow/SageMaker…
  • Experience building Data Quality pipelines.
  • Experience with SQL engines: Athena, PrestoDB, BigQuery, Hive…
  • Transactional Data lakes: Delta lake, Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi.
